Junior High Assessment Day - Tuesday, January 28th

Junior High Tutorial/Assessment Day

Junior High students at CCHS will be participating in a Junior High Tutorial/Assessment on Tuesday, January 28th during regular school hours.

The purpose of this day is to provide grade 7-9 students the opportunity to complete missing assessments or be reassessed on formal assessments to improve classroom grades prior to report cards being sent home.

Students will be excused from coming to school on this day provided that they have signed permission from their parents (forms will be sent home Thursday, January 16th) and all of their core teachers have signed the form indicating that they have a minimum of 50% in each course and outstanding work needed by the classroom teacher has been completed. 

Please note that attendance during this day is not optional for students who have outstanding work (required by their teacher) or are failing a core course. They are required to attend school this day so that they can access this opportunity to improve their grade.
